On the day of the exam, take all the materials you need.
Arrive early and stay relaxed – practise deep breathing.
Don’t talk to other candidates about the exam.
Try to feel confident – focus on the last time you did something well; live the feeling again.
IN THE EXAM:
Answer the easier parts/questions first.
In multiple choice questions ignore the answers you know are wrong.
When you have no idea, guess. There is no penalization for wrong answers.
In the Writing paper, allow a few minutes to think and prepare what you are going to write. Spend a short time planning to save a lot of unnecessarily wasted time later.
Make sure you have answered all the questions and filled the answer sheet(s) correctly.
Proofread your work for spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Fill in the answer sheets correctly and clearly.
