Happy Halloween! (New game)

Happy Halloween!

Originally a pagan or Celtic festival called “All Hallow’s Eve”, Halloween grew in popularity especially in the United States of America with the widely known ‘trick or treat’.  In Britain, this spread more during the second half of the twentieth century, although historians consider it to be based on some other earlier customs.  In Spain, it is now becoming more popular too – especially with children and young people.

With Halloween in mind, and to practise your English, why not take a look at this new game and learn some new vocabulary at the same time!  It’s from Cambridge ESOL and is called ‘Phrasalstein‘.  Enjoy!
